Join us for our grilling classes and events in Marion, IA
If you live in the Marion, IA area, you've probably seen The Grill Works set up at local home shows or gun shows. We're passionate about our community, and we love to give back to our customers that have helped us grow over the years.
We opened our store over a decade ago to share our passion for grilling with the rest of Marion, IA. Join us too learn a thing or two or just meet some local friendly faces at one of our events. Call 319-395-7118 today to learn more about our local events.
There is currently no charge for our classes, but we do ask that you RSVP so we are sure to prepare enough samples for everyone.
Likewise, if your plans change, PLEASE, PLEASE let us know you will be unable to attend.
Last year we prepared Prime Rib for 120 RSVP'd guests, and less than 60 guests attended.
These classes are costly and we want to continue to offer these classes free of charge, but we need your cooperation to be able to do so.

Turkey Class - Saturday, November 1 - 2:00PM
Join us to learn how to prepare your best Thanksgiving Turkey from award winning pitmasters, Mike Givens and Zac Miller! They will demonstrate 3 different methods to prepare your turkey. They will explain and demonstrate brining, prepping, seasoning and more! Then, you will be able to sample each turkey, so you know which method you prefer to use for your turkey! RSVP is required so we are sure to prepare enough samples for attendees.
Prime Rib Class - Saturday, November 15 - 2:00PM
In preparation for the holidays, join us for our most popular class of the year! We will show you how prepare the BEST smoked Prime Rib! It is really not hard, but can be very intimidating, and you certainly don't want to ruin your holiday meal! Award winning pitmasters, Mike Givens and Zac Miller will give you tips and tricks to wow and amaze your family and friends! Please, RSVP so we are sure to prepare enough samples for attendees. This class fills up every year, so be sure to sign up early!
